Creating custom color sets

This article will cover how to create your own custom color set and how to apply one or several.

Color sets can be created for a dataset based on one of the attributes available in the dataset, for example prospects ⇒ company or PLay ⇒ critical factor. Color sets are created for attributes, so the company attribute created for fields will affect the coloring of license companies too.

 Instructions

  1. Open the Color editor from the edit tab.

  1. Select the data set and attribute for which you want to create a color set.

  1. Set the colors as you wish. Changing colors here will not affect the original color set.

You will see the current colors of all attribute values, changes will be indicated with a little yellow dot.

  1. Give the color set a name and save it.

  2. Under the Color set editor tab. select the attribute for which you just created a color set.

    1. Enable the sets you want.

    2. Change the order to indicate priority; the top set has the highest priority, and missing colors will be taken from the set below.
