Manually create new users

Only Administrator roles, or roles which have enabled the Create new user permission is allowed to create new users. For more information about roles and permissions, view Role or Admin permissions.

Users created manually will not be able to log in using a OpenIdConnect/Microsoft account after creation.

 

Step 1: Open https://[YOUR TENANT NAME].admin.glex.no/account/login in a web browser.

Swap out [YOUR TENANT NAME] with the proper name of your tenant. Have a look at How to find your tenant name if you are unsure about how to find your tenant.

Step 2: Log in with your username and password.

Step 3: Navigate to Administration/Users in the left menu.

Step 4: Click the Create new user button in the top right corner.

Step 5: Fill out the needed information in the User information tab, then click Save. Note that all of the five checkmarks at the bottom of User information should be checked.

You can also assign a role in the Roles tab, and add the user to a group in the Organizational Units tab.
