Surface import and settings
The surface import modal is the tool to import surfaces to the 2D map view of Glex. The surface is converted to a flat representation of the actual surface and includes hill-shading, contour lines and color gradient choices.
Surface import
When importing surfaces there are some additional thing to keep in mind.
You have to fill the depth units and the UTM zone of the file, you can also select WGS84 as a datum, but this is only supported for geotiff files. Otherwise the import works the same as for prospects, see How to Import Prospect and Lead Shapefiles.
