Definition:
A DataSource is a container that holds information needed to load data into Glex, and consists of several parts:
Name
Description
Layer information
List of SubLayer's
Lists of data within each SubLayer
Source information for each SubLayer (data provider, filenames, access level, etc)
DataSources can be listed from the DataSource Window.
