2. Moving an object between Layers

Moving an Object between layers is carried out in the Inspector Window and requires that the destination layer is of the same category as the original. For example, you cannot move a prospect object an object in a prospects layer to a structural elements layer.
a) Open Source Layer
Open both Source and Destination Data Sources, make sure they are clicked on in the Layers Window (see below)

b) Open Inspector Window and find Object
Objects in the Inspector are categorized by Layer Category.
Navigate to the relevant category and mouse-hover over your chosen Object, it will highlight on the map.

c) Click on the Options Symbol
Click on the options symbol as shown below
Then click Change Layer

d) Navigate to Destination Data Source and Layer
In the Move to Layer: box that appears now click on your chosen destination Layer
Press Move to Layer
In pop-up box, press Confirm
If you reload your Data Sources you will see your Object has been moved.
