3. Creating a basic stratigraphic filterA basic filter will visualise on MapView the presence and thickness of a single chosen stratigraphic
zone.To create a stratigraphic filter you will need to:
1) Select a chosen zone from the drop-down boxeswhat data you wish to display on the map.
2) In the Display drop-down, select the same data type that your chosen zone belongs to
The example below shows FANGST Group, with Groups selected in the Display drop-down.
To the right is a list of all wellbores returned by our basic filter.
...
On MapView, you will see the results of your filter visualized as bars, annotated with zone name and thickness (MD)
The bars are dynamically sized based on the range of thicknesses returned by the filter.
Wellbores which return a negative result are greyed out.

4. Creating a Parent-Child Filter
Creating a Parent-Child Filter will allow you to visualize a data type (eg 3rd ord sequences) present inside a stratigraphic zone of interest (eg GARN formation).
Select a chosen Parent zone from the drop-down boxes.
In the Display drop-down, select a Child data type you wish to filter
The example in the image below shows the filter result of Garn Formation combined with 3rd Order Sequences. The Map shows all 3rd Order Sequences present with in the top and base of the Garn.
You can view other child combinations by simply selecting another data type in the Display drop-down, and conversely you can select another Parent while keeping your child filter. The Map will update on-the-fly as you alter your filter.

Select the zone you wish to display that data for.
The selection below shows the Formations in the Fangst group. The Strat filter will also display a list of all wells containing the selected zone.
The data will be shown on the map as bars indicating the thickness (in MD) of every formation in the selected group (or other zone selected).
It is possible to select the same category displayed data and zone, this will result in a single bar showing the thickness of that zone (in MD).
