Our roadmap is a fluid document, and will be updated on a weekly basis. Q1 2023:

Functionality:

  • Present and export:

    • The ability to display rules/coordinates around exported images/pdfs.

    • More control over colors of objects, and new color legends.

    • New ruler and north arrows are being added.

  • Tag system:

    • The ability to group, select and modify data through tags.

  • Prospect inventory:

    • The ability to rank prospects by attributes like Chance of Success.

  • Filters:

    • Advanced filters will be taken out of beta

    • Added support for filtering on more datatypes

  • Attribute table and Excel export:

    • The ability to list data in an attribute table.

    • The ability select and export a list of objects with a selection of attributes to an Excel sheet.

System improvements:

  • Web version: We have released the first web native apps (Portfolio Map, Relinquishment Atlas and Dashboards) in the new web app portal.

  • Azure AD integration: We are facilitating that users can use their existing Azure AD accounts to log into the Glex Energy platform.

New data connectors:

  • Collabor8 Subsurface API connector.

New datasets:

  • WEPC: NCS Field Production profiles*.

  • NPD: Reports and prospects from relinquished licences will be updated with all available data.

  • NSTA: Relinquishment reports.

*available only for licensors of WEPC data services


Q2 2023:

Functionality:

  • Present and report

    • We will introduce functionality that gives users more control over visibility and visual properties in the map when creating presentations or exporting images and PDF’s from Glex.

    • The ability to export views as PDF files.

  • Prospect inventory:

    • The ability to create and maintain CO2 prospect.

  • Filters:

    • All data types will be available for filtering.

    • Spatial filters will be added (filter data based on polygons in the map).

    • Time based filters: The ability to scrub through time and view information about historical licences, wellbores and more.

  • Cross-tenant data sharing:

    • The ability to share a selection of data between two companies, or within a licence partnership.

  • Subsurface view:

    • The ability to view Prospects (polygons or geobody objects) in 3D alongside well trajectories, interpreted surfaces, faults, fence diagrams, and more.

    • The ability to load and visualize surfaces on top of the base map.

  • Document view:

    • A view dedicated to searching, finding, classifying and visualizing documents added to the Glex Energy data platform

    • Advanced OCR and document search.

  • Well view:

    • A new and improved way of entering the well view.

    • More data available for plotting.

    • Redesign of well tracks, including the possibility to adjust width and dock tracks together.

  • Prospect inventory:

    • Improved visibility and tracking of user actions when editing a prospect.

  • Portfolio map:

    • The ability to add and edit free texts about assets from admin panel.

    • UKCS data.

System improvements:

  • OSDU integration

  • Web version: We are continuing our move towards a fully web based service throughout Q2 and Q3, and will be rolling out an improved web version of Glex Energy.

  • Mapping framework: We are experimenting with the ArcGIS Maps SDK for Unity, and might add the possibility to switch between Mapbox and ArcGis as the desired mapping provider in our service.

New data connectors:

  • Diskos 2.0 API connector.

  • ArcGis connector

  • Microsoft Sharepoint integration

  • Petrel connector

New datasets:

  • NPD: Survey areas and lines.

  • NPD: Seabed minerals - Sulphite samples analysis.

  • NPD: CO2 wellbores and CO2-surfaces used in the CO2-atlas.

  • NPD: Well prognosis vs. result.

  • NSTA: Fields, licences and wellbores will be updated to include more meta-data.

  • NSTA: Pipelines and subsea points.

  • NSTA: Carbon Storage Licences.
