Registering users with OpenIdConnect requires OpenId to be configured for your tenant. Reach out to us if you are unsure about whether or not OpenId is enabled for your tenant.

Step 1: Open https://[YOUR TENANT NAME].admin.glex.no/account/login in a web browser.

Swap out [YOUR TENANT NAME] with the proper name of your tenant. Have a look at How to find your tenant name if you are unsure about how to find your tenant.

Step 2: Click the OpenIdConnect button

Step 3: You will be taken to your companies Azure AD login screen, where you can log in with your company managed email and password.

Step 4: Accept the permission prompt and go through the remaining steps.

If your Azure AD username includes Norwegian characters (æ, ø, å), the user registration may fail with the following message. Username can be temporarily changed to not include non-English characters while doing the registration. Contact your Azure AD administrator to get this fixed.

Step 5: If the previous steps are successful you should end up on the admin dashboard. In this case your user account has been created successfully.

Step 6: Log out of the admin panel.

Step 7: Follow the steps of the Forgot your password article.

Resetting your password is required before you can log in to the Glex Energy application, as we currently don’t have functionality to login via OpenIdConnect in the Windows application.
