Our roadmap is a fluid document, and will be updated on a monthly basis. Glex Energy (Windows client):

Q4 2023:

  • Improved composite log visualization (scheduled for release 2.5.0):

    • Tracks can now be visualized separately with increased control.

  • Surfaces / grids in the map view (scheduled for release 2.5.1)

    • The ability to import and visualize surfaces on top of the base map.

    • The ability for users to edit colors, depth cut-offs, contours and other visual parameters of the surface interactively.

Q1 2024:

  • 3D surface view:

    • The ability to view Prospects (polygons or geobody objects) in 3D alongside well trajectories, interpreted surfaces, faults, fence diagrams, and more.

  • Present and report

    • We will introduce functionality that gives users more control over visibility and visual properties in the map when creating presentations or exporting images and PDF’s from Glex.

    • The ability to export views as PDF files.

  • Filters:

    • All data types will be available for filtering.

    • Spatial filters will be added (filter data based on polygons in the map).

    • Time based filters: The ability to scrub through time and view information about historical licences, wellbores and more.

  • Well view:

    • Redesign of well tracks, including the possibility to adjust width and dock tracks together.

Q2 2024:

  • Cross-tenant data sharing:

    • The ability to share a selection of data between two companies, or within a licence partnership.

  • Document view:

    • A view dedicated to searching, finding, classifying and visualizing documents added to the Glex Energy data platform

    • Advanced OCR and document search.

Prospect/Relinquishment Atlas app (web):

  • Prospect inventory / Relinquishment Atlas:

    • The ability to have multiple cases for one prospect.

    • Media extracted from reports available in prospects.

  • Notifications

    • We will add notifications about changes to data

    • Improved visibility and tracking of user actions when editing a prospect.

  • The ability to create and maintain CO2 prospect.

  • Filters:

    • The ability to filter on age

Portfolio Map app (web):

Q4 2023:

  • The ability to view aggregated historic production for the selected company

Q1 2024:

  • The ability to select multiple companies and view overlapping assets

  • The ability to view Wittemann field production profiles and cash flows (requires license with Wittemann)

  • The ability to add and edit free texts about assets from admin panel.

    • We are experimenting with the ArcGIS Maps SDK for Unity, and might add the possibility to switch between Mapbox and ArcGis as the desired mapping provider in our service.

  • NPD: Faults and boundaries

  • NPD: Well prognosis vs. result.

Q1 2024:

  • NSTA: Fields, licences and wellbores will be updated to include more meta-data.

  • NSTA: Pipelines and subsea points.

  • NSTA: Carbon Storage Licences.

  • NPD: CO2 wellbores and CO2-surfaces used in the CO2-atlas.

Q2 2024:

  • NPD: Seabed minerals - Sulphite samples analysis.
