Instructions
1. Find Import Button
In the map view, find the options ribbon at the top, and click:
File ⇒ Import
2. Select Production profile
3. Select File
Click the Import production profile button.

Note that the file has to be closed to be imported. If it is a shared drive this may be an issue and making a temporary copy to the local disk may be the best option. |
Navigate to your chosen file, and open it.
Select the profiles you wish to import.
Click “next” to continue.
The supported file formats are:
excel (.xlsm and .xlsx)
Only when formatted according to the RNB format.

4. Select the associated asset
Search for the asset.
Select the desired asset.
Rename the profiles if desired/required.
Click “next” to continue.
5. Assign the profile to the associated profile set
Search for the profile set or create a new one.
Select the desired profile set.
Upload the profiles.

You can set the Profile set permissions here by clicking the tri-bar icon.

Depending on company settings, the default permissions may be “read” company wide, if the information is sensitive within the company, set the permissions before uploading. |
6. Review and access data.
You can load the data source you just uploaded to.
You can open the info panel for the asset you uploaded the profiles to by clicking the “i”.
7. Access the attachments
When in the info panel of an asset click on the attachments icon.
8. Manage data
From the attachments you can:
Move profiles.
Change access permissions for profile sets.
Rename profiles and profile sets.
Delete profiles or and profile sets

When deleting a profile set you will delete all containing profiles, also ones uploaded to other assets. |
