1. Find Import Button

In MapView find the options ribbon at the top, and click:

File>Import

2) Select File

The Import box will appear.

Click the Import file button.

Navigate to your chosen file (shapefile, json or geojson), highlight and click Open.

3) Assign Datum and UTM Zone

GLEX will now scan your file and display its metadata.

Based on the file metadata, you will now need to assign a datum from the drop-down box and type in the UTM Zone.

Click Apply

4) Select Label Type

Outlines of your polygons will appear to the right.

Under the label drop-down box, click Prospect.

5) Assign Polygon Properties

The Import box will now prompt you to match your prospect properties to entries in GLEX.

Assign prospect properties by clicking the drop-down box.

Assigning Don't map to a property means the property will not be imported.

(Note: All properties can by manually entered or imported later)

6)Select Data Source and Layer

Here you can select to import your prospects to an existing layer or to a new layer.

To import to an existing layer, highlight the layer (eg Leads below) and click Upload and create.

To import to a new layer, click New Layer and fill out the Name, Description and Data type. Click Create.

You will now see your new layer under your chosen Data Source. Highlight it and click Upload and create

You can also create a new Data Source folder and underlying Layer.

Do this by clicking New Data Source.

Fill out the Name and Description and click Create

You will now need to create a layer inwhich to import your prospects to.

This is done using the same workflow as before.
