1.What is the Strat Filter?
In the Strat Filter you can create custom parent-child filters between different stratigraphic data types.
You With the Strat Filter you can select a ‘parent' stratigraphic unit (eg a Group) and then toggle through various ‘child’ data types. On the map you will see which 'child’ zones are present inside the parents top and base.
Child zones are drawn on the map as bars, displaying the top-to-base order in which they appear in the wellbore. The bars are annotated with unit name and thickness in MDMeasured Depth.
The Strat Filter is located in the Windows tab in the top ribbon.

3. Creating a basic filter
A basic filter will visualise on MapView the presence and thickness of a single chosen stratigraphic zone.

You can view other child combinations by simply selecting another data type in the Display drop-down, and conversely you can select another Parent while keeping your child filter. The Map will update on-the-fly as you alter your filter.

5. Display Filter Range
Display Filter Range allows you to view different depth ranges of your search resultfilter.
By clicking All Zones, you will view all Child zones present in your filter result.
Upper will return the shallowest Child zone in your filter result, and .
Lower will return the deepest Child zone in you filter result.
